Our
Projects
At The Rowdy Foundation, we are dedicated to providing Resources as well as FREE Sensory Friendly & All-Inclusive events. Everyone deserves to have welcoming opportunities.
Sensory Movies
Our sensory movies are located at the Columbus Malco. We provide appropriate movies in a sensory setting with the help of the theatre. They lower the music, bring up the lights, and allow children to be themselves and enjoy the movie with their family in a judgement free environment.

Sensory Santa
Who dreads getting a "quick photo" with Santa every year? We have partnered with Columbus-Lowndes Public Library to provide an adequate amount of time for every child to visit with Santa. No pressure to take pictures but the opportunity to engage. In their meeting room, we provide fun, sensory activities while they wait and get acclimated to their location. Be sure to join us as we get into the holiday spirit!

Sensory Easter Bunny
When we (Scott and Whitney) began the Rowdy Foundation, we set out to have our first fundraiser in April of 2020. Of course, the world shut down and all plans were postponed. Whitney really struggled sitting around and waiting the very first year to do anything. After racking her brain, they finally came up with their very first fundraiser took place: Easter Bunny Drive-By's. She hopped in the back of her father-in-law's truck with some music blasting and a bunny suit; taking pictures with children all over Lowndes County. Covid restrictions have since lifted, but they continue to provide Sensory Easter Bunny visits as well as egg hunts.
